Nov 1, 2022 · The 2008 BMW 528i’s battery location is in the trunk, behind the passenger side taillight. To access your battery, you will have to lift up the floor mat and hook it to the mouth of the trunk and remove the plastic fasteners that secure the trunk floor and wall panels.
Nov 5, 2022 · The 3 Series battery can be found in the boot and not the engine compartment. Lift the floor panel up and remove from the boot. You will find the battery located on the right side of the boot under a plastic battery cover secured by three fasteners.
OK, so in my F30 3 series, which should be similar to yours. The battery is located at the right hand side of the trunk. You should have a little indentation/pocket /concave area on the far right near the edge of the trunk/brake light. Apr 30, 2009 · Unlock the car with the remote control so all doors and boot are unlocked. Then, with the boot closed, press and hold the boot unlock button on the remote for 1 second or longer and see if the boot pops open. UK cars dont have the button in the glove box. Let me know how you get on.
